Bob Segner Auditorium
Let's Put Seats in the Bob Segner Auditorium!
Nancy and Don Weaver ’76 made a $250,000 gift in honor of Bob Segner for the renovation of Francis Hall as the permanent home of the Department of Construction Science. Working with the Weavers, we set out to leverage that donation to name the signature classroom in Francis Hall the Bob Segner Auditorium. With generous matching commitments from Roger Chartouni ’84, Keith Dalton ’85, Greg Walla ’79, and Andrews Myers, Attorney at Law the effort to make this a reality has now topped $750,000.

All that remains to complete the $1 million goal for naming the auditorium is for former Construction Science students to sponsor the remaining seats in the Bob Segner Auditorium. For $5,000, you can have a permanent seat in Bob Segner’s class. Each donation will be honored with your name (or any name you designate) on a tag on “your” chair, and a listing on the donor plaque which now hangs in a prominent location in the auditorium.
You can make a one-time gift of $5,000 or if you prefer, pledge $1,000 a year and pay over 5 years. Either way, you will honoring Bob’s long career serving generations of Construction Science students, and help build the future for each new generation of Aggie constructors.
