The University will support the project by providing $2.4 million for deferred maintenance, life and safety issues, and ADA compliance. All other renovations will be supported through gifts from Construction Industry Advisory Council members, former students, and friends of our department that have an interest in supporting our students.
Donors can direct their gift toward the general fund or toward the naming of a specific space within Francis Hall. Naming opportunities will include spaces such as classrooms, faculty offices, conference rooms, student areas, and administrative suites. All named spaces are subject to approval by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.
All donors who give to the Francis Hall renovation project will be recognized on an alphabetical roster, which will be displayed in the lobby of the Francis Hall Construction Science Center.
Every gift, no matter how large or small, makes a tremendous difference to the Francis Hall renovation project. The gifts will help ensure that both current and future students of the Construction Science Department will be better prepared to excel and bring new innovations and ideas to the industry upon graduation.
